collected at that time.
Ø The
League fee ($30) can be paid by cash or a cheque payable to

Ø Cart Rental Fee: 9

League
Format:
v League play will begin
at 10:00 a.m. in the Spring and the Fall when the mornings are frosty. As the
weather becomes warmer, we will start at 9:00 a.m. Occasionally we may have a
choice of an even earlier start. On some days when there's a tournament at the
club, we may have a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Please arrive at least 20-30
minutes before your tee time. This is VERY important for my sanity!
v Each week there will
be a sign-up sheet for those wishing to play the following Tuesday, as well as
for indicating your expected absence on that particular day. On the Sunday
before, I will email you the teams and their tee times.
v Depending on the total
number of ladies who have indicated they wish to play on a given Tuesday, and
whether they are playing 9 or 18 holes, groups of three or four players will be
put together. I will make every effort to mix and mingle so that you meet and
play with as many different ladies as possible.
v Please inform, email
or phone Lynne if you know you will not be golfing on any particular
Tuesday.
v Quota play will be the
format again for this season. Cost to participate each week is $2.00. There will
also be an optional 50/50 draw ($1) and a chip-in pot ($.25). For these two, if
you don't pay, you can't win.
v The 9 holes played for
the quota prizes will generally alternate each week between the front and back
nine.
v If you are interested
in playing 18 holes on league day, you are more than welcome to do so.
v You must play a
minimum of 10 games to be eligible for league prize money awarded at the final
luncheon.
I would appreciate if you would phone or email me to let me know if you
intend to play in the Tuesday Morning League this year. I've had several new
women indicate that they'd like to join us. Our numbers are edging up to the
high 40s and I've decided that I will most likely limit our total to 50
participants.
On May
3rd, our first day of League, I have arranged to have a shotgun start at 9:30
a.m. It will be a fun best-ball tournament with small prizes for various golf
feats such as closest to the pin, "most honest team", etc. When we finish our
nine holes, at about 11:30 a.m., we will assemble in the clubhouse for lunch
together. I thought this would be a perfect way for us to connect with our old
friends and also meet new members in our League. I need to know if you plan to
golf and dine on this first league day, May 3rd, so I can make up teams and can
let the club know how many we are both for golf and for the luncheon afterwards.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you would like to take part in this
bang-up beginning.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in
touch.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you
soon!
Sincerely,
