Trillium Wood Players Club 2012

Back by popular demand is the Trillium Wood Players Club for 2012. TWPC will play Friday events to accumulate points for the Fed Up Cup

Depending on the size of the field, points will be awarded to the teams/individuals for each event. Events will range from individual gross and net to team events such as blind better balls and modified alternate shot. Events will be decided from week to week. If you have any ideas for formats, please pass them on and they will be considered but keep in mind, we want to stay away from scramble events and events that limit the field (non-handicap events) as there are many people that participate that have higher handicaps.

8 people or less       - 1^st place 10pts      2^nd place 7pts          3^rd place 4pts          4^th-6^th place 2pts

9 - 12 people           - 1^st place 15pts      2^nd place 12pts        3^rd place 9pts          4^th place 7pts     5^th-8^th place – 5pt

13 – 18 people        - 1^st place 20pts      2^nd place 17pts        3^rd place 14pts        4^th  place 11pts   5^th place – 8pts       6^th – 10^th place – 5pts

19 people or more   - 1^st place 25pts      2^nd place 21pts        3^rd place 17pts        4^th  place 14pts   5^th place – 11pts      6^th place – 9pts       7^th -11^th place – 6pts          12^th-16^th place – 3pts

Tee times will be around 130pm – 2pm. We work it on a first come, first serve basis based on the number of tee-times we have booked.

Entry fee is typically $15.00 with the following breakdown

-        $5.00 goes to the format prizes (placings will be determined by the number of people each week)

-        $5.00 goes to skins (skins again is dictated by the format – better ball, straight up, net better ball, etc.)

-        $5.00 goes to closest to the hole ($1 from each competitor is given to the person who is the closest on each of the five par threes)

The final tournament of the year will be the “Pre Club Championship Championship” on the Friday before Trillium Wood Club Championship with double the points for the size of the field. The awarding of the Fed Up Cup will take place on that day as well.
